Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute with the implementation of the right architectural approaches for software applications.
- Involvement across the full project life cycle (to successful deployment)
- Provides leadership and participates in the development and delivery of client solutions by estimating, planning, designing, implementing and testing custom software applications
- Determines technology choices and ensures proper software engineering practices are in place for projects.
- Mentors and educates others on software engineering disciplines (e.g. test-driven development, configuration management and coding practices). Communicates effectively about how to make proper technical decisions on projects.
- Performs technology/tool evaluations and software technical proof of concepts. Recommends new technologies that can help increase quality and productivity.
- Investigates software-related complaints and makes necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance
- Regularly attends team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues
- Shares knowledge with others by updating company's knowledge repository, conducting internal/external presentations and trainings, writing article etc.
- Provides technology road maps and assists in estimation and work breakdown structures
- Involvement across the full project life cycle (to successful deployment)
- Be an active part of the continuous improvement of the development processes.
- Conducts IT and industry research to assist delivery management with assessing trends, opportunities and threats
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in designing and implementation of enterprise-grade software solutions mainly with the Microsoft technology stack
- 4+ years in a leading position on system design, implementation and delivery of different solutions
- Strong experience with distributed systems (SOA, ESB, MSA)
- Experience with configuration, implementation and utilization of message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience with containers and container orchestration frameworks (both on premise and cloud based)
- Experience with software development in the cloud and/or transformation of on-premise solutions to cloud native
- Experience with DevOps practices, processes and automation
- Knowledge of software life-cycle processes and best practices
- Knowledge of security standards and best practices
- Basic knowledge of networking, system administration, infrastructure and virtualization
Non-Technical Skills
- Has the ability to work independently, proactive, self-starter
- Works on general goals like "improve performance", "stabilization of the system" etc.
- Maintains software development methodologies
- Excellent collaboration skills
