WHAT your essential role in the team will be:
- Understand both the business objectives and the technical implementation of the company's software product line
- Have a critical eye for detail and be motivated to explore our products in pursuit of identifying problems that will be important for our customers
- Define and implement quality assurance practices and procedures for the company's software
- Design and implement automation tests
- Analyze generated automation test report from nightly builds
- Work with business owners to develop acceptance criteria
- Write test documentation such as test cases and scenarios
- Troubleshooting test environment and application configuration issues
WHAT necessary requirements for the position are needed:
- 4+ years of overall professional experience in developing automation framework
- 4+ years of OOP programming experience
- Experience with one or more testing frameworks – MSTest, nUnit, TestNG, jUnit, etc.
- Solid experience in testing REST API or SOAP web services using different tools like RestSharp, Soap UI, etc.
- Experience with version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience in using test frameworks in a CI/CD like Jenkins, Azure or Kubernetes is a plus
- Knowledge in financial services industry is a plus
